| Summary, etc. | Dans cet article, nous présentons un modèle de l’intention entrepreneuriale des ingénieurs fondé sur leur satisfaction au travail et sur la nature de leur environnement de travail. La recherche est menée sur un échantillon de 517 ingénieurs marocains à l’aide d’analyses de médiation modérée. Les résultats montrent qu’un environnement de travail restrictif a un effet négatif sur la satisfaction au travail et que cet effet est davantage ressenti par les ingénieurs animés par un fort sentiment d’autodétermination. Les résultats révèlent aussi que l’effet de l’environnement de travail sur l’intention entrepreneuriale, via la satisfaction au travail, dépend également de la faisabilité générale perçue. Les implications théoriques et managériales de cette recherche sont discutées. |

| Summary, etc. | The Influence of the Work Environment on the Satisfaction and Entrepreneurial Intention of EngineersIn this article, we present a model of entrepreneurial intention of engineers based on their satisfaction at work and the nature of their work environment. The research was carried out using a sample of 517 Moroccan engineers through moderated mediation analysis. Results show that an unfavorable environment has a negative effect on satisfaction at work and that this effect is felt more by the engineers who are driven by a strong sense of self-determination. Results also reveal that the effect of the work environment on entrepreneurial intention, through job satisfaction, also depends on perceived feasibility. Theoretical and managerial implications of this research are discussed. |
