| Summary, etc. | Les recherches antérieures ont globalement apporté une meilleure compréhension du rôle des structures d’accompagnement sur le développement des jeunes entreprises mais elles restent partagées quant à leur efficacité. Par ailleurs, elles sont focalisées sur des expériences issues des pays développés et émergents. Le présent article propose d’analyser le rôle des politiques et des structures d’incubation dans un pays en développement. L’étude porte sur un échantillon représentatif d’entreprises du secteur des TIC, hébergées dans différentes pépinières sur le territoire tunisien. Les résultats montrent que la croissance des entreprises est directement liée à l’ambition et l’ampleur du projet entrepreneurial. La pépinière ne joue pas de rôle direct sur la croissance mais elle accompagne les créateurs sur la double dimension insertion locale et complément de formation au management. |

| Summary, etc. | The Role of Business Incubators, Characteristics of the Entrepreneurial Project and the Growth of TIC Startups: The Case of a Developing CountryIn a general way, previous research brought a better understanding of the role of support structures on the development of young companies, but there is no consensus on their effectiveness. Moreover, it focused on experiences in developed and emerging countries. This article proposes to analyze the role of policies and structures of incubation in a developing country. The study focused on a representative sample of ICT sector enterprises, hosted in different incubators on Tunisian territory. The results show that business growth is directly linked to the ambition and scope of the entrepreneurial project. The incubator plays no direct role with regard to growth, but it supports entrepreneurs in terms of the dual dimension of local integration and the completion of management training. |
