L’éducation familiale tient compte de sa présence et de sa participation à différentes activités, notamment avec les enfants. Obtenir le contrôle et l’obéissance du chien est une préoccupation de la famille, une nécessité, voire un enjeu. Or les difficultés sont nombreuses, à ce sujet, dans la vie quotidienne. En voulant éduquer son chien, la famille met en œuvre différents principes issus des modèles éducatifs destinés au chien, de ses propres habitudes et le plus souvent d’un amalgame réalisé à partir du sens caché des mots du langage courant. Les conséquences sont sérieuses car de nombreuses ambiguïtés et applications confuses s’inscrivent entre dominance et punition, et évoluent vers un processus de maltraitance. |
