Elle se fait plus ou moins selon l’âge par l’intermédiaire des parents, mais elle n’est qu’un des aspects de la relation entre le pédiatre et l’enfant, qui en comporte plusieurs : l’information de l’enfant et de sa famille, devenue une obligation légale, l’attention et l’écoute des besoins et des demandes de l’enfant, et enfin la prise en compte de l’avis de l’enfant, ainsi que son adhésion et son consentement aux soins. Le respect de ces attitudes, reconnu par la loi, est loin d’être évident et pose beaucoup de questions, abordées par des exemples tirés de la pratique quotidienne. |
