| Summary, etc. | RésuméL’hypothèse de l’auteur est que le mensonge de l’enfant est une réaction aux mensonges des adultes, surtout lorsque ces mensonges concernent les points fondamentaux de la vie et de l’histoire de l’enfant : ses origines, les circonstances de sa venue au monde, le handicap, la mort. À partir de certaines configurations cliniques, l’auteur propose quelques réflexions sur l’articulation déni/dénégation/désaveu d’une part, et mensonge/vérité/affabulation d’autre part. Le mensonge apparaît comme une stratégie de survie face à une situation pathogène, marquée par le déni, voire le double lien. Le mensonge permet d’éviter l’effondrement dépressif ou la décompensation psychotique et exprime la quête de la vérité. L’exemple d’Aragon, considéré souvent comme un faussaire ou un imposteur, auteur d’une œuvre gigantesque dont Mentir-Vrai, illustre ce rapport entre mensonge et vérité et le passage de l’affabulation à la vocation du romancier. |

| Summary, etc. | The author’s hypothesis is that child’s lies are a reaction to adults’ lies, especially when those lies are about fundamental points of child’s life and history : his origins, the circumstances of his birth, handicap, and death. From some clinical configurations, the author purposes some reflections about the system denial/disclaimer/disclaiming on the one hand and the system lie/truth/fabrication on the other hand. Lying appears to be a surviving strategy to face a pathogenic situation, marked by the denial or even the double link. Lying permits to avoid the depressive collapse or the psychotic “decompensation”, and expresses the quest of truth. The example of Aragon – the author of a huge literary work including “Mentir-Vrai” – who is often considered as a forger or an imposter, symbolizes the relation between the lie and the truth. It also symbolizes the path which comes from the fabrication to the novelist’s vocation. |
