Voilà un adage auquel les policiers exerçant dans les brigades locales ou départementales de protection de la famille sont confrontés au quotidien. Ils ont la lourde tâche d’entendre des enfants pouvant être victimes d’infractions graves. Pour ce faire, une formation adaptée a été mise en place depuis plusieurs années afin que les policiers puissent diligenter leurs procédures judiciaires avec efficacité. Une « méthodologie de l’audition par étapes successives » leur permet de procéder au recueil de la parole d’un mineur et dont l’auteur rend compte ici. Les policiers travaillent de concert avec la justice, les partenaires sociaux, les membres de l’éducation nationale et des unités médico-judiciaires dans un seul objectif : celui de protéger l’enfant et de veiller à ce que ses droits fondamentaux soient respectés. |

| Summary, etc. | Do children always speak the truth ? Everyday policemen of the local and departmental family protection units have to answer this question. They have the hard assignment to listen to children who may have been victims of serious violations. Since many years an adapted training has been provided to the policemen in order to accelerate their legal procedures in the most efficient way. A “questioning methodology going through successive steps” allows them to collect underage’s words. The author reports one here. Policemen work in association with the justice offices, the social partners, the members of the national education and the medico legal units in order to protect the child and the respect of his fundamental rights. |
