| Summary, etc. | RésuméL’auteur constate que le « décrochage scolaire » est devenu un phénomène de société lié à l’effondrement de la fonction paternelle. Le passage, en 1970, dans les textes de loi, de l’autorité paternelle à l’autorité parentale en est le reflet concret. Il distingue la phobie scolaire du décrochage : si la première requiert avant tout des soins psychiatriques, le second nécessite une autre approche. Celle-ci, selon lui, réclame d’abord la restauration de l’autorité dans le dialogue, et ensuite seulement des solutions adaptées à la jeunesse actuelle. |

In 1970 the change from « paternal authority » to « parental authority » in the texts of law is the concrete reflection of this link. The author distinguishes the scholar phobia from the « scholar switch off » : the phobia required psychiatric care but the switch off required a different approach.
