Summary, etc. | RésuméL’auteur constate que le « décrochage scolaire » est devenu un phénomène de société lié à l’effondrement de la fonction paternelle. Le passage, en 1970, dans les textes de loi, de l’autorité paternelle à l’autorité parentale en est le reflet concret. Il distingue la phobie scolaire du décrochage : si la première requiert avant tout des soins psychiatriques, le second nécessite une autre approche. Celle-ci, selon lui, réclame d’abord la restauration de l’autorité dans le dialogue, et ensuite seulement des solutions adaptées à la jeunesse actuelle. |

Summary, etc. | The author notes that the « scholar switch off » has become a social phenomenon linked to the collapse of the paternal function. In 1970 the change from « paternal authority » to « parental authority » in the texts of law is the concrete reflection of this link. The author distinguishes the scholar phobia from the « scholar switch off » : the phobia required psychiatric care but the switch off required a different approach. According to the author, this approach demands first of all that authority be restored in the dialogue. Even then it demands solutions to be adapted to the young people of today. |
