| Summary, etc. | Dans cette interview, le psychanalyste Alain Vanier dégage les enjeux méta-psychologiques de la notion de Surmoi pour la clinique de l’enfant et de l’adolescent, en retraçant les conditions de son élaboration par Freud et ses développements chez M. Klein et J. Lacan. Loin de n’être qu’une instance légiférante et indexée à la Loi, le Surmoi est fait de commandements paradoxaux, voire féroces, qui convoquent la jouissance du sujet. Au-delà de l’interdit, ces injonctions intériorisées obligent le sujet à désirer l’impossible, au nom de l’idéal, et peuvent être appréhendées cliniquement via « la grosse voix » et le regard scrutateur que certains enfants et adolescents, qu’ils soient écrasés, empêchés d’apprendre et/ou de réussir, ou encore qu’ils posent des actes délinquantiels, viennent convoquer réellement. |

| Summary, etc. | Within this interview, the psychoanalyst Alain Vanier tackles the metapsychological stakes of the concept of superego for the children and teenagers clinic by retracing the conditions of its elaboration by S. Freud and its developments by J. Klein and J. Lacan. Far from being a legislating authority indexed to the Law, superego is made with paradoxical commands – even fierce ones – which call the subject’s pleasure. Beyond what is forbidden, these inner injunctions oblige the subject to desire the impossible in the name of the ideal. It can be clinically apprehended using the “big voice” and the searching gaze children and teenagers really come for – whatever they are broken, precluded to learn and/or to succeed or even if they commit delinquent acts. |
