Summary, etc. | Cet article relate les résultats d’une recherche menée au Liban ainsi que l’activité clinique du « Centre médico-psychologique d’accueil de l’enfant de la guerre et de sa famille ». Les caractéristiques de la prise en charge des enfants de la guerre sont évoquées à travers deux situations cliniques. L’auteur insiste sur le travail de l’histoire qui facilite la symbolisation de la violence et la construction de la résilience. Dans de nombreuses situations, les dispositifs à médiation favorisent l’élaboration du trauma et permettent l’accès à la mentalisation. L’environnement social des enfants joue un rôle très important dans la réussite de leur prise en charge. |

Summary, etc. | This article presents the results of a research project carried out in Lebanon as well as the clinical activity of the “Medical and Psychological Centre for Children from War Zones and their Families”. The characteristics of the provision of care for children from war zones are evoked through two clinical situations. The author insists on the “work of history” (travail de l’histoire), which facilitates the symbolization of violence and the construction of resilience. In many situations, mediation settings promote the elaboration of the trauma and allow access to mentalization. The social environment of the children plays a very important role in the success of their care. |
