| Summary, etc. | Les problématiques liées à l’usage des écrans ne peuvent être traitées en dehors de tout contexte social, historique, politique, voire moral et religieux. En effet, s’il paraît évident, pour certain praticiens, qu’une utilisation excessive de ces appareils ne peut être abordée que sur l’angle curatif ou sanitaire de l’addiction, il convient de s’interroger sans jugement trop hâtif sur la valeur de ces écrans selon une approche plus psychopathologique en questionnant leurs diverses fonctions. Ces usages peuvent en effet révéler une articulation singulière propre à maintenir le sujet dans un état homéostatique particulièrement utile, faisant parfois office de suppléance passagère là où la carence est manifeste. |

Indeed, although it seems obvious, for some practitioners, that an excessive use of these machines can only be approached from the curative or sanitary angle of addiction, it is worth asking ourselves, without rushing to form a judgement, about the value of these screens taking a more psychopathological approach by questioning their various functions. These usages can reveal a singular relationship designed to maintain the subject in a particularly useful homeostatic state, sometimes serving as a temporary substitution where the deficiency is manifest. |
