Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | This article aims to draw attention to seemingly paradoxical configurations and dimensions at play in extremely traumatic contexts. How should we position and interpret accounts from people in near death situations which suggest this was a blissful experience, forever imprinted on their memory ? We shall explore the example of Aron Ralston, whose case is a striking illustration of this phenomenon, shedding light on the fact that death is always, structurally, an anticipated event. |
