| Summary, etc. | RésuméL’artisanat dit « local », résultant d’une identité sans cesse réinventée, représente, depuis le début du xixe siècle, une source précieuse d’objets-souvenirs pour des vacanciers soucieux de manifester la preuve d’une expérience maîtrisée de la confrontation avec « l’autre et l’ailleurs ». Entre volonté de mise en valeur d’une situation de dépaysement et proposition d’une image de soi, ce type d’artisanat en dit autant sur la culture du touriste que sur celle de l’autochtone. D’une stratégie de survie économique par l’utilisation de clichés, immédiatement compris par les étrangers, à une démarche de patrimonialisation de savoir-faire, devenus eux-mêmes arguments touristiques, l’artisanat apparaît ici comme le révélateur d’une adhésion à une manière de vivre l’espace vacancier. |

| Summary, etc. | The local craft, resulting of an constantly invented identity, constitutes, since the early 19th century, an important source of souvenirs for travellers who want to prove a successful confrontation with « otherness and elsewhere ». Between the will of showing a change of scenery and the demonstration of one’s image, these kinds of craft express as much on the foreign culture as on the local one. From a strategy of economic survival, by using obvious stereotypes, to a measure for promoting skills, which now became argument for tourists, the craft reveals an adhesion to a way of life during holidays. |

| Summary, etc. | ResumenLas llamadas artesanías “locales”, resultados de una identidad en reinvención permanente, representan desde los inicios del siglo XIX une rica fuente de objetos-recuerdos para los vacacionistas que desean demostrar su experiencia de confrontación controlada con “el otro y el allá”. Entre la voluntad de valorar el cambio de horizonte y la de proponer una imagen de si mismo, este tipo de artesanías expresa tanto la cultura del turista como la del autóctono. Desde una estrategia de supervivencia económica por el uso de clichés directamente entendibles por los foráneos, hasta un proceso de patrimonialización de habilidades que se convierten a su vez en argumentos turísticos, las artesanías se desvelan aquí como un instrumento de adhesión a una forma de experiencia del espacio vacacional. |
