| Summary, etc. | RésuméEntre 1934 et 1948, Gaston Bardet construit une idée d’urbanisme comme « science des agglomérations humaines ». On explorera ici moins les aspects méthodologiques et épistémologiques que les points de doctrine d’une co-implication espace-société, en équilibre instable entre une approche communautaire (économie du lien) et une posture régulatrice (biopolitique). Au-dedans d’une métaphore de l’ espèce, la question essentielle de la limite est posée par rapport à la composition des groupes et à l’espace qu’ils occupent dans la ville et sur le territoire, avec des références, d’une part, aux notions de continuité et de lien et, d’autre part, aux catégories de stabilité et d’ordre. |

| Summary, etc. | Between 1934 and 1948 Gaston Bardet constructed an idea of urbanism as a “science of human agglomerations”. We are less concerned here with methodolological and epistologogical aspects than with an exploration of doctrinal points arising from a space-society co-involvement caught in an unstable equilibrium between an community-based approach (an economy of contacts) and regulation (biopolitics). Beyond a metaphor of species, the essential question posed is that of limits in relation to the composition of groups and to the space which they occupy in the urban context with references on the one hand, to notions of continuity and to contacts and, on the other hand, to categories of stability and order. |

| Summary, etc. | ResumenEntre 1934 y 1948, Gaston Bardet concibe al urbanismo como la “ciencia de las aglomeraciones humanas”. El presente artículo aborda menos los aspectos metodológicos y epistemológicos, que los aspectos de la doctrina relativos a una co-implicación de espacio y sociedad, en un equilibrio inestable entre una visión comunitaria (economía de enlace) y una postura reguladora (biopolítica). Adentro de una metáfora de la espacie, la cuestión central del límite es expuesta con respecto a la composición de los grupos y al espacio que ellos ocupan en la ciudad y en el territorio, con referencias a los términos de continuidad y de enlace, así como a los criterios de estabilidad y orden. |
