| Summary, etc. | La pandémie de COVID-19 a reconfiguré les pratiques funéraires : a-t-elle pour autant pénalisé le deuil ? À partir de récits de personnes endeuillées, collectés dans le cadre d’un programme de recherche réalisé en France, en Suisse et en Italie, cet article fait l’hypothèse que leurs trajectoires sont à l’image de celles des défunts, c’est-à-dire plurielles, instables et sujettes à des ajustements nombreux. Quatre figures idéales-typiques sont mises en exergue pour montrer que la causalité entre ritualité funéraire entravée et complication du deuil est tout sauf monolithique. |

| Summary, etc. | The COVID-19 pandemic has reconfigured funeral practices: has it penalized mourning? Based on the narratives of bereaved persons, collected in the framework of a research program carried out in France, Switzerland and Italy, this article postulates that their trajectories are like those of the deceased, i.e. plural, unstable and subject to numerous adjustments. Four ideal-typical figures are highlighted to show that the causality between hindered funerary rituality and the complication of mourning is anything but monolithic. |
