| Summary, etc. | Cette étude propose d’analyser l’écriture du deuil dans La mort d’Ivan Ilitch de Tolstoï, À la recherche du temps perdu de Proust et Les Années de Woolf. Ces écrivains, par le biais de l’écriture, ont traduit une nouvelle vision du deuil qui se fait jour à la fin du XIXème. Le deuil est décliné dans toutes ses facettes : de la ritualisation à l’ironie et à la théâtralisation du rite, on passe au deuil vécu avec un sentiment de culpabilité à cause de l’inéluctable oubli auquel il est destiné. |

| Summary, etc. | This study aims to analyze the writing of mourning in The Death of Ivan Ilitch by Tolstoï, In Search of Lost Time by Proust and The Years by Woolf. These writers, through writing, translated a new vision of mourning that emerged at the end of the 19th century. Mourning waned in all its facets : from ritualization to irony and theatricalization of the rite, we move on to mourning experienced with a feeling of guilt because of the inevitable oblivion to which it is intended. |
