| Summary, etc. | L’une des manifestations musicales les plus importantes au Brésil au cours des dernières décennies, le Manguebeat ou Manguebit, apparue à Recife, la capitale de l’état de Pernambuco, se diffuse au début des années 1990. En utilisant la notion de scène musicale, on souligne la composition du Manguebeat, basée sur l’articulation de sujets provenant de différents endroits de Recife, agglomération urbaine historiquement marquée par l’inégalité socio-territoriale. Nous présentons la méthodologie de recherche fondée sur la collecte d’informations primaires, à partir d’entretiens semi-directifs et de visites techniques. On observe que la Scène Manguebeat a renforcé la dynamique culturelle de Recife et l’appropriation de la ville à partir de la production culturelle. Avec l’étude du Manguebeat, nous voulons contribuer au débat sur les liens entre production culturelle et urbanisation dans la période actuelle. |

| Summary, etc. | Cultural Production and Urbanization: The Manguebeat Scene at RecifeOne of the most important musical manifestations in Brazil over the course of the last few decades, Manguebeat or Manguebit, has its roots in Recife, the capital of the state of Pernambuco, and expanded throughout the early 1990s. Utilizing the notion of a musical scene, we underline the composition of Manguebeat, based on the articulations of subjects from different places in Recife, an urban agglomeration historically marked by socio-territorial inequality. We present a research methodology founded on the collection of primary sources, through interviews and visits. We demonstrate that the Manguebeat scene has strengthened the cultural dynamic of Recife, and the appropriation of the city through cultural production. With the study of Manguebeat, we contribute to the debate on the links between cultural production and urbanization in contemporary times. |

| Summary, etc. | Uno de los eventos musicales más importantes de Brasil en las últimas décadas, el Manguebeat o Manguebit, aparecido en Recife, capital del estado de Pernambuco, se difunde a principios de 1990. Utilizando la noción de escena musical, se subraya la composición de Manguebeat basada en la articulación de temas provenientes de diferentes lugares de Recife, aglomeración urbana históricamente marcada por la desigualdad socio-territorial. Presentamos la metodología de investigación basada en la recopilación de informaciones primarias a partir de entrevistas semidirectivas y de visitas técnicas. Se observa que la Escena Manguebeat ha fortalecido la dinámica cultural de Recife y la apropiación de la ciudad a partir de la producción cultural. Con el estudio del Manguebeat, queremos contribuir al debate sobre los vínculos entre producción cultural y urbanización en el período actual. |
