| Summary, etc. | Depuis le début des réhabilitations de foyers de travailleurs migrants en 1997, l’hébergement de proches, pointé du doigt et qualifié de « suroccupation » par les gestionnaires, est mis à rude épreuve. Contraints spatialement dans les nouveaux studios remplaçant les dortoirs et les salles collectives, les habitants doivent faire avec – et contre – les injonctions au vivre seul et les cadres juridiques, spatiaux et techniques de plus en plus stricts face aux pratiques de cohabitation. Comment les tactiques quotidiennes et les « arts de faire » des habitants contournent-ils les obstacles et les contraintes toujours réinventés des gestionnaires ? À partir de l’ethnographie d’un logement à Saint-Denis, cet article retrace la trajectoire d’une cohabitation transformée par la vie quotidienne en migration, ainsi que par la politique gestionnaire, toujours plus contraignante. |

| Summary, etc. | Since the start of the renovation work on migrant workers’ hostels in 1997, the managers of such hostels have opposed the accommodation of relatives on grounds of “overcrowding”. Spatially restricted in the new studios that replaced the dormitories and communal rooms, residents have to accommodate to and resist the imposition of solitude and the increasingly strict legal, spatial and technical frameworks surrounding hostel living. What day-to-day tactics and “art of practice” do they used to circumvent the constantly evolving obstacles and constraints imposed by the managing entities? Drawing on the ethnography of a hostel in Saint-Denis, this article traces the trajectory of communal living transformed by the everyday life of migration and the increasingly restrictive management policy of the residence. |

| Summary, etc. | Desde el inicio de las rehabilitaciones de los albergues para trabajadores inmigrantes en 1997, el alojamiento de familiares, criticado y calificado de «sobre-ocupación» por los gestores, está puesto a prueba. Condicionados espacialmente en los nuevos apartamentos que sustituyen a los dormitorios y las salas colectivas, los habitantes tienen que lidiar con -y contra- las exhortaciones a vivir solos y los marcos jurídicos, espaciales y técnicos cada vez más estrictos con las prácticas de cohabitación. ¿Cómo las tácticas cotidianas y las «artes de hacer» de los habitantes sortean los obstáculos y las limitaciones constantemente reinventados de los gestores? A partir de la etnografía de una vivienda en Saint-Denis, este artículo traza la trayectoria de una convivencia transformada por la vida cotidiana en migración, así como por la política de gestión cada vez más restrictiva. |
