| Summary, etc. | RésuméLa démarche conceptuelle, apparue à la fin des années soixante dans l’art, a promu une dématérialisation de l’œuvre en désacralisant l’objet via une critique de l’art académique entendu comme commercialisation d’un objet esthétique. La disparition de l’œuvre dans l’art conceptuel souligne, au-delà de l’objet, la visée et les fondements de la sublimation, tels que Jacques Lacan a pu permettre de les saisir à partir de la Chose. C’est bien en effet une tentative de circonscrire le vide premier d’où s’origine une œuvre qui anime nombre de projets conceptuels, dévoilement insupportable qui fut rapidement rattrapé par la logique du marché. |

| Summary, etc. | The conceptual approach, which appeared in Art at the end of the 1960s, promoted the dematerializing of the work in profaning it through a criticism of academic Art considered as the commercialization of an esthetic object. This disappearance of the work in Conceptual Art underlines the aims and foundations of sublimation, such as Jacques Lacan managed to grasp from the Thing. At the root of numerous conceptual projects is in fact an attempt to encircle the primary void which gives birth to a work ; an intolerable unveiling which was quickly picked up by the logics of the market. |
