| Summary, etc. | RésuméCet article a pour point de départ les difficultés et les résistances de la sociologie des religions à regarder le fait religieux tel qu’il se fabrique. Dans son exercice ethnographique, l’auteur suit, jour après jour, un prêtre dans son travail paroissial à l’intérieur d’un diocèse français. Il décrit les séquences d’actions observées en situation, et plus particulièrement la compétence interactionnelle et la capacité argumentative de ce prêtre face aux différentes difficultés rencontrées. Il insiste sur le rôle critique tenu par ce prêtre et sur les basculements de situation qui en résultent. Comme s’il n’admettait pas la rigidité du religieux, ce prêtre contribue au « déplacement » de celui-ci, tout en continuant à gérer les rapports des fidèles avec un Dieu absent. |

| Summary, etc. | This article starts from the difficulties and the reluctance of sociology of religions to face the religious fact such as it is produced. In his ethnographical field study the author observes day after day a priest at work in a parish of a French diocese. He describes the sequences of actions observed in situation and more especially the interactional competence and argumentative capacity of this priest faced with various difficulties. He stresses the critical role of the priest and the resulting reversals of situation. As if he did not accept the rigidity of the religious fact this priest contributes to its shift while he continues to manage the relations of the faithful with an absent God. |

| Summary, etc. | ZusammenfassungDie Schwierigkeit und der Widerwillen der Soziologie der Religionen, das religiöse Faktum zu betrachten wie es sich bildet, sind der Ausgangspunkt dieses Artikels. In seiner ethnographischen Feldstudie folgt der Autor Tag für Tag einem Priester in seinem Pfarramt innerhalb einer französischen Diozese. Er beschreibt die in Situation beobachteten Sequenzen von Handlungen und im besonderen die interaktionelle Kompetenz und argumentative Fähigkeit dieses Priesters, der mit verschiedenen Schwierigkeiten konfrontiert ist, und die daraus resultierenden Situationsänderungen. Als ob er die Starrheit des religiösen Faktums nicht akkzeptierte, trägt dieser Priester zu dessen Verschiebung bei, während er sich um die Beziehungen der Gläubigen zu einem abwesenden Gott weiter kümmert. |
