| Summary, etc. | RésuméCet article propose l’enquête généalogique comme méthode pour une meilleure compréhension des alliances, des filiations des familles de Gitans. Ce regard – qui nous éclaire sur des réussites transfrontalières non lisibles autrement – permet une lecture différente de celle souvent proposée par les institutions qui ont affaire aux populations gitanes. En effet, leur lecture concerne des temps courts, gommant ainsi toute l’intelligence du temps intergénérationnel des actions endogènes de ces mondes gitans. Les tracés généalogiques nous indiquent comment la famille gitane perpignanaise et la famille gitane barcelonaise se renforcent mutuellement – en s’agglomérant en clan aux contours nouveaux, transnationaux –, alors même qu’une lecture limitée par la frontière politique entre France et Espagne nous suggère la désagrégation de l’une et parfois simultanément de l’autre. Ces tracés généalogiques permettent de mettre en évidence des espaces, matériels et symboliques, amenant à considérer et à analyser une nouvelle forme d’autonomie sociale. |

| Summary, etc. | This paper suggests the use of genealogical investigation to provide a better understanding of alliances and filiations of Gypsy families that sheds light on many cross-border success which are otherwise unintelligible. This method allows a different reading from the one often suggested by institutions dealing with Gypsy populations which tends to focuse on short periods of time in Gypsy worlds, thus obscuring the significance of the intergenerational time of their endogenous actions. The study of genealogical lines indicates us how Barcelona and Perpignan Gypsy families reinforce each other by aggregating themselves into clans with new transnational outlines, whereas by contrast a reading limited by Franco-Spanish political borders suggests the disintegration of one and sometimes of both simultaneously. Those genealogical lines help bring to light material and symbolic spaces, that have led me to locate and analyse a new form of social autonomy. |

| Summary, etc. | ZusammenfassungDer hier vorliegende Artikel verwendet die Methode der genealogischen Untersuchung zur Verdeutlichung von Beziehungen und Abstammung von Roma- und Sinti-Familien. Ein solcher Blick ermöglicht es, anders kaum sichtbare, grenzüberschreitende Erfolge zumessen und eine neue Leseart anzubieten. Eine andere Leseart als diejenige, die gemeinhin von den Institutionen angeboten wird, die sich mit Roma und Sinti beschäftigen. Denn ihr Blick richtet sich lediglich auf eine kurze Zeitspanne, die jegliche Bedeutung generationenübergreifender Zeitverläufe von endogenen Roma- und Sinti-Welten ignoriert. Während eine durch die politische Grenze zwischen Frankreich und Spanien beschränkte Analyse uns den Verfall der Familien aus Perpignan und der Familien aus Barcelona suggeriert, zeigen die genealogischen Untersuchungen wie sich beide gegenseitig durch eine neue transnationale Clanbildung stärken. In diesem Sinn betont der neue Blick materielle und symbolische Räume, die die Analyse neuer Form sozialer Autonomie ermöglichen. |
