| Summary, etc. | RésuméLe transfert des collections ethnographiques parisiennes du Musée de l’Homme et du Musée national des Arts d’Afrique et d’Océanie vers le Musée du Quai Branly marque un tournant important dans l’histoire des collectes françaises d’objets ethnographiques. La plus grande partie des crédits pour l’acquisition de pièces nouvelles est maintenant affectée à des achats onéreux sur le marché de l’art, alors que les crédits octroyés aux chercheurs pour l’achat d’objets sur le terrain sont devenus quasi inexistants. Quelles peuvent être les conséquences à long terme de cette politique ? |

| Summary, etc. | The transportation of the Parisian ethnographic collections from the Musée de l’Homme and the Musée national des Arts d’Afrique et d’Océanie to the Musée du quai Branly marks an important change in the history of French collections of ethnographic artifacts. The largest part of the credits for acquisition is now allocated to expensive objects on the art market, whereas money provided to researchers to buy objects in the field have become almost inexistant. What indeed will be the long term consequences of this policy ? |

| Summary, etc. | ZusammenfassungDie Verlagerung der Pariser ethnographischen Sammlungen des „Musée de l’Homme“ (Museum für Mensch) und des „Musée national des Arts d’Afrique et d’Océanie“ (Nationalmuseum afrikanischer und ozeanischer Kunst) in das neue Museum „Quai Branly“ stellt einen wichtigen Wendepunkt in der Geschichte französischer ethnographischer Sammlungen dar. Denn der Großteil der gewährten Gelder zum Kauf neuer Ausstellungsstücke sind für den teuren Kunstmarkt vorgesehen, wohingegen die, den Wissenschaftlern zur Verfügung gestellten Gelder zum Kauf von Objekten vor Ort praktisch inexistent geworden sind. Der Artikel untersucht die Konsequenzen, die sich auf lange Sicht aus dieser Erwerbspolitik ergeben könnten. |
