| Summary, etc. | RésuméLes communautés andines de la région d’Apurimac célèbrent chaque année une corrida au cours de laquelle les paysans affrontent un taureau sur lequel est fixé un condor. Cette chimère a donné lieu à une interprétation indigéniste diffusée aujourd’hui au niveau international : cette cérémonie représenterait la lutte de l’Inca symbolisé par le condor contre le colonisateur espagnol figuré par le taureau. On démonte ici les ressorts de cette narrative en la confrontant à l’exégèse indigène au fondement sacrificiel. L’analyse montre ainsi le processus d’invention incaïsée de la tradition dont il s’agit de nier l’autochtonie. Elle montre aussi une controverse dont l’enjeu est de désindianiser des rituels pour les rendre présentables. |

| Summary, etc. | The Andean communities in the area of Apurimac celebrate each year a corrida where the peasants fight against a bull that has a condor stitched on its back. This chimera has given rise to an indigenist interpretation that has been propagated around the world. This ceremonial supposedly represents the struggle of the Inca, symbolized by the condor, against the Spanish colonial power embodied by the bull. The logic of this narrative is discussed and confronted with the indigenous explanation of a sacrificial background. Our analysis also shows the process of the invention of a tradition by the neo-Incas who denied its autochtony. We also show a controversy that aims at the de-Indianisation of rituals so as to make them more acceptable. |

| Summary, etc. | ZusammenfassungDie Gemeinschaften der Andes in der Gegend von Apurimac feiern jedes Jahr eine Corrida in welcher die Bauern mit einem Stier konfrontiert werden, auf dessen Rücken ein Kondor festgenähnt wurde. Diese Chimere gab den Indigenisten Anlass zu einer Interpretation welche weltweit verbreitet wurde. Diese Zeremonie sollte den Kampf zwischen dem vom Kondor symbolisierten Inka gegen die vom Stier vertretene Spanische Kolonialherrschaft darstellen. Die Logik dieser Darstellung wird diskutiert und verglichen mit der einheimischen Erläuterung eines Opfers. Unsere Analyse zeigt auch den Prozess der Erfindung einer Tradition, deren einheimischen Ursprung geleugnet werden soll. Wir zeigen ebenfalls wie die Rituale de-Indianisiert werden, damit sie akzeptabler werden. |
