Summary, etc. | RésuméLe téléphone mobile et internet, dont la diffusion est aussi massive que récente chez les adolescents, démultiplient leurs potentialités de communication. L’enjeu est ici de saisir comment ces outils s’insèrent aux autres supports communicationnels (téléphone fixe, écrit…) et participent au processus de socialisation des plus jeunes. Parce qu’ils sont individualisés et personnalisés, ils leur permettent d’asseoir très tôt leur autonomie vis-à-vis de leur famille et de leur groupe de pairs. En facilitant également le dialogue entre les garçons et les filles, ils sont devenus des outils précieux pour les premières entrées en relation amoureuse. Les données de cet article sont tirées d’une enquête pour laquelle 76 entretiens ont été menés. |

Summary, etc. | Unlike the family phone, the mobile phone and Internet are individualized, personalized tools, and thus multiply young teenagers possibilities for communicating. How do these media relate to older communication tools ? How do they participate in the socialization of young teenagers’ and in the construction of their identity ?These tools enable them to establish an autonomy vis-à-vis their family and peer group at an early age. Since mediated communication is more neutral and less engaging, it enables them to communicate with peers of the opposite sex more easily than at school, especially for their first love relationship. This article is based on a fieldwork research where 76 teenagers were interviewed. |

Summary, etc. | ZusammenfassungHandy und Internet, die seit kurzem unter Jugendlichen weit verbreitet sind, führen zu einer Einschränkung auf bestimmte Kommunikationswege. Dieser Artikel zeigt, wie die mobilen Kommunikationsmittel die bisher genutzten Wege (Telefon, Brief…) ersetzen und den Sozialisierungsprozess der Jugendlichen von klein an bestimmen. Individualisierung und Personalisierung der Kommunikationsmittel ermöglichen dabei eine frühe Unabhängigkeit der jungen Nutzer von ihren Familien und ihren Altersgenossen. Zudem erleichtern sie den Kontakt zwischen Jungen und Mädchen und sind somit ein beliebtes Mittel für erste Flirts. Die dem Artikel zugrunde liegenden Daten stammen aus einer Befragung von 76 Jugendlichen. |
