| Summary, etc. | RésuméLa communauté de Kayamandi se nourrit des rivalités entre ses trois principaux clubs de football. Toutefois, à domicile, le respect mutuel entre équipes du township est de mise ; il y prévaut une règle de retenue dans les manières d’encourager. Cette règle est dictée par le sentiment d’appartenance à une même communauté menacée. L’esprit solidaire du township prime sur l’esprit partisan du club. Par contre, à l’extérieur, en déplacement hors du township, on retrouve des formes plus marquées de partisanerie. Les supporters modulent alors leurs encouragements en fonction de la communauté rencontrée (noire, coloured ou blanche). |

| Summary, etc. | The Kayamandi community thrives on rivalry between its three main Football clubs. However, on home ground mutual respect between the Township Teams is apparent, an established rule pertaining to the way of encouraging the teams prevails. This rule is sustained by a sentiment of belonging to the same threatened community. The spirit of solidarity prevailing in the Township overrides the partisan spirit of the club. On the contrary, one can identify, outside of the Township, more poignant forms of attachment. The supporters then modulate their encouragements depending on the community they meet (Black, Coloured or White). |

| Summary, etc. | ZusammenfassungDie Gemeinde Kayamandi ist geprägt von den Rivalitäten zwischen ihren drei wichtigsten Fußballclubs. In Kayamandi gilt allerdings das Prinzip des gegenseitigen Respekts unter den Fußballclubs ; eine Art Unterstützung durch Zurückhaltung. Diese Regel wird durch die Zugehörigkeit zur gleichen städtischen Gemeinschaft aufrechterhalten. Der Geist des Townships steht über dem Geist, Anhänger eines bestimmten Clubs zu sein. Außerhalb des Townships hingegen findet man wesentlich stärkere Formen des Ausdrucks von Zugehörigkeit. Die Fans variieren die Art und Weise ihrer Unterstützung als je nachdem auf welche Gemeinschaft sie bei einem Spiel treffen (Schwarz, Farbig, Weiß). |
