Alors que cet apport est souvent passé sous silence, cet article tente, à partir de l’exemple des enjeux de la décentralisation et de la démocratisation en Mauritanie, de démontrer l’intérêt des approches de la socio-anthropologie du développement dans l’analyse des pouvoirs locaux et des espaces publics. Dans cette perspective, une attention particulière est accordée aux catégories sociales dont l’étude se révèle déterminante pour saisir les enjeux et les effets des politiques de développement. |

While this contribution is often overlooked, this article will attempt to demonstrate the interest of using socio-anthropological approaches to development by examing the challenges of decentralization and democratization in Mauritania. This will involve the analysis of local government and public spaces. | Summary, etc. | ZusammenfassungAktuelle Forschungen im Bereich der Entwicklungspolitik haben die politische Anthropologie in Frankreich langsam erneuert. Da diese Tatsache oftmals kaum Beachtung findet, möchte dieser Artikel am Beispiel der Dezentralisierung und der Demokratisierung in Mauretanien auf die neuen und sehr interessanten sozio-anthropologischen Untersuchungen – lokaler Machtstrukturen und öffentlichen Räume – im Bereich der Entwicklungsforschung aufmerksam machen. Der vorliegende Artikel richtet das Augenmerk dabei besonders auf die sozialen Kategorien, die vom Autor herangezogen werden, um die Themen und Auswirkungen der Entwicklungspolitik zu skizzieren. |
