| Summary, etc. | Souvent installés en France depuis de nombreuses années, les parents qui accueillent des enfants venus du Cameroun dans le cadre du fosterage bamiléké les élèvent dans un environnement socioculturel différent de celui qui les a vus grandir. Le transfert de la pratique du fosterage dans l’environnement français agit sur les représentations sociales de l’enfant, et génère d’importants changements des relations entre les différents protagonistes (parents d’accueil, parents biologiques, enfant accueilli et enfant biologique de la famille accueillante). L’article montre que les parents d’accueil vivent difficilement entre ces deux cultures, mais poursuivent néanmoins cette pratique qui maintient un lien très étroit avec leurs racines camerounaises. |

Young Bamilekes from Cameroun Fostered in FranceLiving in France often for many years, parents caring for children from Cameroon in the Bamileke fosterage raise them in a cultural environment different from that they grew up. Thus, the transfer of the practice of fosterage in the French environment affects social representations of the child and generates significant changes in the relationships between the various stakeholders (foster parents, biological parents, foster child and biological child of the foster family). This paper shows the foster parents’ difficulties in growing up the child, but how they still continue to keep this practice alive that maintains a very close link with their roots in Cameroon. |

| Summary, etc. | Pflegefamilien die seit Jahren in Frankreich leben und Kinder der Volksgruppe der Bamileken aus Kamerum bei sich aufnehmen, bieten den Kindern ein völlig neues soziokulturelles Umfeld. Der Wechsel in das französische Umfeld ist bedeutend für die soziale Entwicklung der Kinder und führt zu wichtigen Veränderungen für alle Beteiligten (Pflegefamilie, leibliche Eltern, Pflegekinder und leibliche Kinder der Pflegefamilie). Die Untersuchung zeigt, dass die Pflegeeltern sich schwer damit tun, beide Kulturen zu leben, die Kinder aber darin unterstützen ihre kamerunischen Wurzeln nicht zu vergessen. |
