| Summary, etc. | Pour le quatre centième anniversaire de la naissance de Jean de La Fontaine (1621-1695), le poète et auteur de théâtre Alain Piolot vient de faire paraître aux éditions Jas sauvages une pièce dans laquelle il donne la parole au fabuliste tout en s’identifiant à lui. Il observe notamment avec grand intérêt les réactions de cet ancien novice chez les Oratoriens, converti à l’épicurisme, fataliste, mais toujours affectionné à la mère de Dieu, auteur d’une paraphrase du Dies Iræ, très critique vis-à-vis de l’autoritarisme royal lors des guerres de Religion. L’auteur expérimente, par les méthodes historiques d’une recréation dramatique, une exploration très incisive de l’intimité chrétienne de son personnage. Jacqueline A ssaël s’interroge sur les limites de la connaissance de la foi d’un autre, dans une démarche littéraire de théologie pratique. |

| Summary, etc. | For the four hundredth anniversary of the birth of Jean de La Fontaine, the French poet and playwright Alain Piolot has just published a play in the editions Jas sauvages in which he lends voice to the fabulist through an identification with him. He observes with great interest the reactions of this former novice among the Oratorians, converted to Epicureanism, fatalist, but still affectionate to the Mother of God, author of a paraphrase of Dies Iræ, very critical of royal authoritarianism during the Wars of Religion. The author attempts, through the historical methods of dramatic re-creation, a very incisive exploration of the Christian intimacy of his character. The article questions the limits to knowledge of another’s faith, in a literary approach of practical theology. |
