Et pourtant, aussi étonnant que cela puisse paraître, aucune étude approfondie n’a jamais essayé d’étayer une telle affirmation. Un tel travail est d’autant plus nécessaire que le lien entre “intégration européenne” et “paix” est désormais fortement contesté, particulièrement avec l’ascension de forces opposées à la construction européenne. L’objectif de cet article est de renouveler l’argumentation sur ce sujet. Pour ce faire, il n’hésite pas à contester certains poncifs véhiculés par les européistes (pro-Européens), tout en incorporant de manière dialectique certaines des objections avancées par l’approche eurosceptique. |

And yet, surprisingly, no comprehensive study has ever attempted to support such an assertion. Such work is all the more necessary as the link between “European integration” and “peace” is now strongly contested, particularly with the rise of forces opposed to European integration. The purpose of this article is to renew the argumentation on this subject. To do so, it does not hesitate to challenge some of the clichés conveyed by the Europeanists (pro-Europeans), while dialectically incorporating some of the objections put forward by the Eurosceptic approach. |
