| Summary, etc. | RésuméL’article pose la question de l’écart entre systèmes résidentiels et systèmes de transports, et plus globalement de la sectorisation des politiques urbaines. L’expérience intercommunale du Pays Voironnais, communauté d’agglomération périurbaine, questionne à la fois l’affirmation d’un territoire institutionnel, mais aussi les modalités d’organisation du développement urbain. L’interface entre logiques territoriales et réseaux techniques de transports est ici l’occasion d’illustrer les contradictions dont sont porteurs les territoires périurbains dans la manière disjointe – au niveau géographique du secteur intercommunal et à celui plus large de la région urbaine – d’aborder ville et mobilité. |

| Summary, etc. | Based on a case study, this article discusses the difficulty to reconcile the logics of town planning and transportation systems, as an example of the widespread sectorization of urban policies. The study of the of the Pays Voironnais, a suburban inter-municipal authority, sheds light both on the process of creation of a new institutional territory and on the urban development policies. It illustrate the contradictions within suburban spaces that result from the disjoined management of town planning and mobility, at the geographical level of inter-municipal sector as well as at the broader level of the urban area. |
