| Summary, etc. | Questionner « l’efficace » de la psychanalyse, c’est prendre la mesure de l’acte – irréductible au « taux de rendement » de l’action – et, du même mouvement, de ses effets. Réentendre la parole de Freud à ce sujet, telle qu’elle ressort de ses textes, c’est mettre à jour la thèse d’une « discrépance » entre l’acte et ses effets – qui aligne le « métier » analytique sur celui de l’« éduquant » et du gouvernant, où l’on peut être assuré d’avance de l’inadéquation de l’effet. À entendre non comme quelque « nihilisme thérapeutique», mais comme la mise à jour de l’« analyser », sur ses deux versants, celui de l’analyste et celui de l’analysant. Ainsi se dessine la problématique proprement freudienne de la « guérison » dont on trouve ici les éléments somme toute méconnus, dégageant la temporalisation du sujet aux prises à sa vérité divisée dans la cure. Cela permet de renvoyer dos à dos la furorsanandi et le « neutralisme » (surtout si teinté de «bienveillance»). L’événement du transfert est ce qui vient donner à cet acte son tranchant, mais y inscrire l’incertitude qui a sa rigueur, celle de l’altérité. Contre le chantage à l’« efficacité », proprement idéologique et reproduisant, avec le déni du sujet inconscient, une haine militante du transfert, il s’agit de revenir à la « pointe » de l’efficience analytique. C’est de faire métier de cet « impossible » que l’analyste affronte la nécessité de son acte, dont les discours et technologies de l’efficacité prétendent le désencombrer. |

| Summary, etc. | To question « efficacy » of psychoanalysis, is to get the measure of the act – irreducible to the efficiency of the action – and, at the same time, of its effects. To hear again Freud’s speech about this topic, as it emerges from his writings, is to throw some light on the thesis of a « discrepancy » between the act and its effects – which lets the analyst’s profession fall into line with the educator’s and governer’s ones, in which one can be sure in advance that the effect is unsuitable. This has to be understood not as a therapeutic nihilism, but as the way to throw some light on the analytical practice, from its two sides, the analyst’s one and the patient’s one. So the strictly freudian problematics of healing is sketched, with its unrecognized elements, showing the temporality of the subject facing his divided truth. This allows to send back to back the furor sanandi and the « neutralism », besides all if it is tinged with benevolence. The transference event gives to this act its edge, but records the uncertainty which has its rigour, the one of alterity. Against the blackmail at « efficiency », strictly ideological and repeating, through the unconscient subject denial, an active hate of transference, we have to come back to the cutting edge of the analytical efficacy. It is by making a profession of this « impossibility » that the analyst faces the necessity of his act, off which the discourses and technologies of efficiency pretend to relieve him. |
