C’est en se démarquant de la psychiatrie de son époque et en se tournant vers des pratiques de médecine populaire que Freud a peu à peu inventé la psychanalyse. Ses recherches sur l’hystérie, la névrose obsessionnelle, la névrose liée au transfert dans la cure constituent une première ébauche de nosographie psychanalytique. Freud s’est peu intéressé à la psychose qu’il a laissée au champ de la psychiatrie. |
