520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | Starting from the apparent political «indifferentism» of Freud and arriving at the Lacanian affirmation-formula that identifies the unconscious with the political, the issue is to liberate the space of political illusion. The reference to the symptom as an unconscious formation in front of the «discourse of the Master» allows us to grasp the enthroning, by Freud, of «his majesty the symptom.» What emerges is, beyond the antithetical Erotic drive, the political form of desire. Faced with the massive symptom of «voluntary servitude» and the ever powerful «need for authority,» we find unfold the erection of the «mortal god» and sovereignty, the postulate of political Reason of the modern era. The structural dissidence of the symptom, mirroring the discourse of the Master, makes it possible to think, in the same movement, the aporia and the structural affinity. Either the resistant subject of the symptom versus the subject politically subjected. |
