| Summary, etc. | La psychanalyse déplace l’interrogation sur l’identité (moïque) à celle de l’être dans son rapport à l’identification. Cette idée acquise peut être redécouverte par cette métaphore lacanienne de l’oignon qui porte loin. Oignon sans bulbe, puisque l’essentiel tient dans les « pelures ». Comme souvent Lacan suggère une avancée métapsychologique tout en déniant à la métapsychologie son statut princeps. La présente contribution dissèque donc une à une les « pelures » de cette métaphore pour dégager la fonction de ce qu’il est légitime de désigner comme le « moi-oignon ». Ce qui donne une acuité clinique et théorique à cette déconstruction syntaxique qui sape le « qui suis-je ? » par un repositionnement du shifter : « Suis-je ? Mais alors, qui ? » Lacan cherche à « transformer l’essai » (freudien) par une revisite du rapport de l’idéalisation à l’identification, sur la double « planche à imprimer » du symptôme sujet et du lien social. Rimbaud relu par Freud via Lacan permet d’entendre comme à neuf le fameux « je est un autre ». |

| Summary, etc. | Psychoanalysis shifts the questioning of (ego) identity to that of the being in its relation to identification. This acquired idea can be rediscovered through the Lacanian metaphor of the onion. An onion without a bulb, since the most important part is the “layers.” As is often the case, Lacan suggests a metapsychological advance while denying metapsychology its original status. The present contribution thus dissects one by one the “layers” of this metaphor to reveal the function of what we may call the “onion-self.” This gives a clinical and theoretical acuity to this syntactic deconstruction that breaks down the “who am I?” by repositioning the shifter: “Am I? But then, who?” Lacan seeks to build on Freud’s earlier work by revisiting the relationship between idealization and identification, on the double “printing plate” of the subject symptom and the social bond. Rimbaud reread by Freud via Lacan allows us to hear the famous “I is another” as if it were new. |
