Summary, etc. | La présente étude effectue des analyses différenciées selon le genre et selon le niveau de poste occupé sur les attentes en matière d’attributs organisationnels des salariés de la génération Y. Cinq attentes sont examinées : 1- Périphériques novateurs, 2-Environnement de travail dynamisant, 3- Développement personnel et perspectives de carrière, 4- Reconnaissance monétaire de la performance et des compétences, et 5- Respect de la personne et de l’équilibre vie privée/vie professionnelle. Les données proviennent d’une enquête menée auprès de 354 nouveaux employés au bureau de Montréal d’une entreprise mondiale. Les résultats des analyses statistiques indiquent que les attentes en matière d’attributs organisationnels des salariés de la génération Y varient selon le genre et le niveau de poste occupé et l’interaction de ces deux facteurs. |

Summary, etc. | The attractiveness of HRM practices: analysis of expectations of Gen Y employees by genderThis study investigates the differential impacts of gender and job level on expectations in regard to organizational and job related attributes of workers of gen Y workers. Five expectations in regard to organizational and job related attributes are examined : 1- Unusual perks, 2- Dynamic work environment, 3- Development and career, 4- Incentive compensation, and 5- Work-life balance. Data come from 354 new hired employees in the Montreal office of an international firm. Results from statistical analyses show that expectations in regard to organizational and job related attributes of gen Y workers vary along with gender and job level and the interaction of these last two factors. |

Summary, etc. | Este estudio realiza análisis diferenciados, por género y por nivel de puesto de trabajo, sobre las expectativas, en relación a los atributos organizativos del empleo, en los trabajadores pertenecientes la Generación Y. Se examinan cinco expectativas: 1-Dispositivos innovadores, 2- Ambiente de trabajo estimulante, 3 Desarrollo personal y perspectivas profesionales, 4 Reconocimiento pecuniario del rendimiento y de las competencias profesionales, y 5- Respeto de la persona y del equilibrio entre vida privada / trabajo. Los datos provienen de una encuesta realizada en Montreal, en las oficinas de una multinacional, a 354 nuevos empleados. Los resultados de los análisis estadísticos indican que las expectativas en materia de atributos organizativos de los empleados de la Generación Y varían según el género y el nivel del puesto ocupado así como la interacción de estos dos factores. |
