Summary, etc. | Le « Slow tourisme » ou tourisme lent qui repose sur la philosophie de la « Slow food » représente un nouveau mode alternatif au tourisme de masse. Il s’agit là d’un tourisme qui incite l’individu à prendre son temps pour apprécier l’expérience qui en découle. Une expérience du visiteur qui respecte le mode de vie de la population locale et va de pair avec les fondements du développement durable. L’objet de ce papier est de mieux comprendre les apports de ce nouveau mode de tourisme sur le bien-être et la qualité de vie à la fois du visiteur et de la population locale. Nous montrons qu’une approche systémique, intégrant un ensemble de parties prenantes, doit être développée pour la réussite des projets de tourisme lent. |

Summary, etc. | “Slow tourism” which is based on the philosophy of “Slow Food” represents a new mode alternative tourism to mass tourism. It’s a tourism that encourages the individual to take his time to enjoy experiences. A visitor experience that respects the way of life of the local population and goes hand in hand with the foundations of sustainable development. The purpose of this paper is to better understand the contributions of this new mode of tourism on the well-being and quality of life of both the visitor and the local population. We show that a systemic approach, integrating a set of stakeholders, has to be developed for the success of slow tourism projects. |
