Summary, etc. | Inspirée du Toyota Product System (Ohno, 1988), l’approche lean, formalisée dans les années 1990, s’est progressivement diffusée au sein de divers secteurs, pour investir, au début des années 2000, les établissements hospitaliers. Si le lean est décrit comme un système socio-technique, (Marodin et Saurin, 2013) les travaux portant sur la dimension humaine restent lacunaires pour pouvoir appréhender la globalité de la démarche. A partir de la question de recherche : comment se construit la dimension humaine autour de la technicité du lean healthcare ? cet article vise à préciser les enjeux humains de l’approche lean en précisant l’évolution des interactions professionnelles générées par sa technicité. A partir d’une recherche-intervention, nous identifions la dynamique des interactions professionnelles autour des outils lean qui apparaissent comme des régulateurs des relations sociales. |

Summary, etc. | Inspired by the Toyota Product System (Ohno, 1988), the lean approach, formalized in the 1990s, gradually spread to various sectors, and in the early 2000s, it was adopted by hospitals. Although lean is described as a socio-technical system (Marodin and Saurin, 2013), there is still a lack of work on the human dimension in order to grasp the globality of the approach. Based on the research question: how is the human dimension constructed around the technicality of lean healthcare? This article aims to specify the human stakes of the lean approach by specifying the evolution of professional interactions generated by its technicality. From a research-intervention, we identify the dynamics of professional interactions around lean tools that appear as regulators of social relations. |
