La configuration du marché des experts lyonnais, qui mêle plusieurs professions, engendre pourtant des rivalités qui poussent les uns et les autres à affiner leur discours. Les tensions entre notaires et maîtres écrivains, exacerbées durant deux décennies (1670-1690), contribuent ainsi à construire l’expertise comme science et à ériger l’expert en figure savante. |

The configuration of the Lyon expert market, which included several different professions, engendered rivalries that led to a refinement of their discourse. For two decades (1670-1690), tensions between notaries and ledger entry verifiers were exacerbated, thus helping to construct expertise as a science and make the expert into a scientific figure. |
