This population activates archaic fears and anxieties, which may induce defenses such as splitting among caregivers. What expression of psychic conflict can such an encounter provoke? Does this justify a specific attitude? In reference to psychoanalytic psychopathology, this article based on existential action- research (EA-R) studies countertransference among caregivers, and more specifically how to relate to the unaffiliated other and how to tolerate his or her drives and affects, which mirror their own. |
