| Summary, etc. | RésuméA quelques exceptions près, la théorie économique ne s’est pas emparée de la question de la conflictualité. Une hypothèse peut être formulée quant aux motifs de cette omission qui caractérise structurellement l’analyse économique : à la différence d’autres concepts centraux comme la concurrence, l’allocation des ressources, l’équilibre, la rationalité, ou l’utilité, le contenu de la notion de conflit est a priori difficile à cerner et à problématiser, notamment au regard de notions voisines comme la dissension ou les divergences d’intérêts. Mais, surtout, l’idée de conflit a, du moins a priori, une connotation sociale : le conflit est un phénomène dont la prise en compte suppose un point de vue sociologique. L’article étudie dans un premier temps les raisons d’un dialogue manqué entre l’économie et la question des conflits. Dans un deuxième temps, l’analyse porte sur les conflits au sein des théories économiques de l’espace, qui ont abordé cette question avec prudence. La conclusion propose des perspectives de recherche. |

| Summary, etc. | Except a few exceptions, the economic theory did not seize the question of the conflictness. An hypothesis can be formulated as for the motives for this omission which characterizes structurally the economic analysis: unlike other central concepts as competition, resources allocation, equilibrium, rationality, or utility, the content of the notion of conflict is a priori difficult to encircle and to problematize, notably towards nearby notions as the dissension or the differences of interests. But, especially, the idea of conflict has, at least a priori, a social connotation: the conflict is a social phenomenon the consideration of which supposes a sociological point of view. The article studies at first the reasons of a missing dialogue between economic theory and the question of the conflicts. In the second part of the paper, we investigate the analysis of conflict behaviours within spatial economic theories. The conclusion puts in light some research perspectives. |
