| Summary, etc. | L’étude des réseaux de coopération entre acteurs industriels et scientifiques a considérablement renouvelé la compréhension des processus d’innovation et l’analyse du fonctionnement des clusters. La place de la dimension spatiale dans l’approche relationnelle privilégiée mérite toutefois d’être interrogée dans la mesure où elle conduit à une vision un peu trop binaire des dynamiques spatiales de ces réseaux (global vs local). En s’appuyant sur l’exemple de la politique des pôles de compétitivité, cet article montre l’intérêt d’une approche croisant approche relationnelle et approche spatiale. L’aller-retour entre méthodes d’analyse des réseaux sociaux et cartographie des réseaux permet en effet de mettre en relation la structuration progressive des réseaux d’acteurs impliqués dans les pôles et l’inscription spatiale de ces réseaux. Le corpus composé de 7 pôles de la région PACA permet une lecture diachronique et comparative de la territorialisation, au sein d’une même région, de réseaux d’innovation inscrits dans des champs industriels différents. |

| Summary, etc. | Linking relational and spatial perspectives: the case of competitiveness clusters The focus on cooperation networks between industrial and scientific actors has renewed the literature on clusters and innovation processes. This relational approach tough deserves further enquiry insofar as it has led to a somehow binary global/local approach of the spatial dynamics of innovation networks. This paper combines a relational and spatial approach of networks to study the case of the French competitiveness cluster policy. Combining social network analysis and conventional mapping of networks enables to better understand the links between the ongoing structuration of actor networks and their spatial dynamics. Through the comparative and diachronic analysis of 7 competitiveness clusters of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region this paper enlightens the territorialization of innovation networks anchored in the same region but embedded in various industrial fields. |
