Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | Health, as it is conceived and organized today, impacts our way of being in society, our relationship to norms, to suffering and to care. How relevant could it be for a Gestalt therapist to rely on such a concept of health? Health as viewed by the WHO refers to a system of conceptualist thinking that objectifies the person. This system of thinking is directly opposite that of Gestalt therapy, which is intuitionist. Can one refer to systems of thinking that are fundamentally divergent without losing coherence and without losing a sense of ethics? Phenomenology invites us to take a stance which holds concepts at a distance and allows incessant questioning to preserve humanity. |
