Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | A SA walking a tightropeIn this article, the author questions the place given to the experience of feelings among social assistants. Anchored in their practice, that subjective part is today called into question by new work organizations that tend to reduce the room of the relationship needed to social support. That raises frustrations and questions among professionals and students being trained. Indeed, from their point of view, relational engagement with beneficiaries remains a priority. Despite organizational constraints, quite often they carry on this work without it being recognised by the institutions. In this context, the challenge then consists in making again visible that part of the activity essential to the intervention’s quality but too often ignored by an excessive rationalisation of the world of work. |
