Les auteurs ont mené une étude auprès de 389 étudiants québécois en première année d’études supérieures pour identifier les facteurs susceptibles d’expliquer la présence de symptômes dépressifs. Les résultats obtenus peuvent éclairer les décideurs concernant les programmes de prévention et de traitement de la dépression à mettre en place pour les jeunes adultes en contexte scolaire. |

| Summary, etc. | According to certain case studies, the proportion of depressive students would have doubled in 13 years, and the proportion of suicidal students would have tripled. The authors conducted a survey of 389 Quebecois first-year students in order to identify the factors that could explain the presence of depressive symptoms. The results can enlighten the decision makers with regards to the programmes aimed at preventing and treating depression to be put in place for young adults in the school context. |
