| Summary, etc. | En France, certaines catégories sociales (chômeurs, personnes en situation de handicap, bénéficiaires du Revenu de solidarité active…) sont souvent dévalorisées. De nombreuses personnes du fait de leur situation sociale et de leur appartenance à ces catégories peuvent ressentir un sentiment d’inutilité sociale accentuée par le regard de la société. Ces individus se voient souvent « attribuer » des « identités négatives » du fait de leur appartenance à ces groupes sociaux. Les phénomènes de « stigmatisation » dont sont victimes ces individus les amènent à construire une image dévalorisée d’eux même, une identité négative qui les freinent dans leur insertion. Aussi des professionnels se sont posé la question suivante : comment permettre aux personnes accompagnées dans ces deux services de passer d’une identité « subie » à une identité « revendiquée » et de retrouver le sentiment d’utilité sociale ? |

| Summary, etc. | In France, certain social categories (unemployed, people with disabilities, beneficiaries of the minimum wage revenue) are often depreciated. Numerous people because of their social situation and of their membership to these categories can experience a feeling of social uselessness emphasized by society's watchful eye. These individuals often see themselves «awarded» "negative identities" because of their membership to these social groups. The phenomena of "stigmatization" pushes these individuals to build a depreciated image of themselves, a negative identity that slows them down in their insertion. Also, professionals asked themselves the following question: How can these people who require support go from an identity of "damaged goods" towards a "claimed" identity allowing them to find the feeling of social usefulness? |
