Summary, etc. This paper discusses some of the challenges concerning the development of social representations in current psychology. As with any theoretical construction capable of shedding light on new aspects in scientific thought, the concept of social representations has been broadened by authors who use it on different theoretical and methodological bases. The concept of subjectivity is a cultural one in the discussion of current alternatives for the development of social representation. Subjectivity is completely redefined from this framework, gaining a new meaning as part of a completely new theoretical system. From this definition, subjectivity is understood not as an exclusively individual phenomenon, but as an important aspect of any social phenomena. The influence of the concept of social subjectivity for the development of social representation is discussed. This discussion involves social subjectivity, subject, and social representation in a complex and dynamic system.
