Summary, etc. The dissociation between financial capitalism and the “real” production economy disrupts the nature of power within organizations, transforms the relationship to work, and confronts employees with the loss of meaning of work. Companies become complex organizational systems wherein work contradictions turn into paradoxes. In this context, although the worker’s subjectivity is continuously requested and mobilized for the efficiency of the activity, it is attacked both in its expressive and thought dimensions. The reflexive, mental, and emotional capacities of the subject are diverted. Subjectivity is mobilized to satisfy companies’ requirements. Interiority is instrumentalized.
