| Summary, etc. | Cet article vient analyser les différentes modalités d’accompagnement des personnes âgées dépendantes aux Pays-Bas, tant dans sa dimension sociale, organisationnelle que spatiale. Celui-ci se caractérise par une prégnance très forte de la logique « domiciliaire », avec une transformation progressive de l’offre ces quinze dernières années, marquée par la fermeture des structures d’hébergement médicalisées au profit de logements assistés. Peu à peu, et face à un contexte de pénurie de moyens, le gouvernement néerlandais a décidé une réorientation de la prise en charge des personnes qui avancent en âge, non plus centrée sur le soin mais sur la vie quotidienne. Il en ressort des solutions désirables, qui permettent le maintien du libre choix, le droit au risque et par là même le maintien du plaisir, de la qualité et du sens de la vie. |

| Summary, etc. | This article analyzes the different ways of caring for elderly people in the Netherlands, in its social, organizational, and spatial dimensions. This is characterized by a very strong significance of the residential logic, with a gradual transformation in the last fifteen years of their offer, marked by the closure of nursing homes in favor of assisted living housing. Little by little, and faced with a shortage of resources, the Dutch government has decided to reorient its care for the elderly, making it focused on daily life rather than on cure. The result is desirable solutions, which allow individuals to retain freedom of choice, the right to risk, and thereby pleasure, quality, and meaning in their life. |
