| Summary, etc. | Le darwinisme médical appliqué à la psychiatrie pose la question « pourquoi » devient-on psychotique (quel peut être l’intérêt adaptatif pour la survie de l’espèce ?) et non la question « comment » posée habituellement en psychopathologie. C’est en essayant de répondre à cette question dans le cadre de l’autisme infantile que nous avons été amenés à revisiter tous les symptômes de l’autisme sous l’angle d’une préadaptation à la vie marine, voulue par l’évolution pour sauvegarder son œuvre en cas d’une catastrophe écologique majeure (que de nombreux signes semblent annoncer en ce début du XXIe siècle), comme elle l’a déjà fait pour chaque classe de vertébrés depuis la conquête des terres émergées (loi de sauvegarde). Ce concept nous a conduit à proposer une expérience de delphinothérapie, pour relancer le développement psychomoteur et la capacité de communication de ces enfants inadaptés au milieu aérien, au directeur du Marineland d’Antibes, comme cela se pratique depuis 1989 à Key Largo (Floride), 1991 à Eilat (Israël), 1998 à Nuremberg (Allemagne) et 2001 à Harderwijk (Pays-Bas). |

| Summary, etc. | The medical Darwinism applied to psychiatry raises the question why does one become psychotic (what can be the interest for the survival of these species?) and not the question how usually posed in psychopathology. By trying to answer this question within the theme of the infantile autism, we must visit again ail the symptoms of autism under the view of a preadaptation to marine life, wanted by the evolution to preserve its development in the case of a major ecological catastrophe – many signs seem to announce this catastrophe in this beginning of the 21st century – as was the case for each class of vertebrate since the conquest of emerged ground (preservation law). This concept led us to propose to the Director of Marineland in Antibes (south of France), an experience of delphinotherapy aimiong at boosting the psychomotor development and the capacity of communication of children totally unsuited to air environment – as conducted in Key Largo (Florida) since 1989, Eilat (Israel) since 1991, Nuremberg (Germany) since 1998 and Harderwijk (Netherlands) since 2001. |
