| Summary, etc. | Porter un regard sur la famille d’un malade frappé de maladie d’Alzheimer, permet un abord thérapeutique à travers son système de vie. L’entre-deux relationnel et la communication restent possibles dans la maladie d’Alzheimer pour peu que la famille soit éduquée à réagir de façon adaptée. La prise en charge familiale permet en particulier grâce à la triangulation, de faciliter l’expression de la souffrance familiale, d’apporter un soutien efficace pour le maintien à domicile du dément, de régler d’éventuels conflits en son sein. Elle permet ainsi de contenir l’angoisse de la famille, ce qui freine la désorganisation émotionnelle de la personne âgée malade. Nous présentons ici une expérience de prise en charge des problèmes rencontrés dans la maladie d’Alzheimer par les patients et leur famille. |

| Summary, etc. | Familial point of view on Alzheimer disease allows a contextual treatment aimed on familial and patient well-being. A good relationship and a good communication are still possible in this disease, espescially if family is tought for the care giving and help for the burden. The family support permits the family to express its suffering, to ask for what it needs to go further in homecare, to regulate its own conflicts. The therapy decreases the angst of the family and the destruction of patient’s emotional system. We review in this paper how patients and family cope with Alzheimer disease. |
