| Summary, etc. | L’intérêt des Sciences de l’Education pour les personnes âgées émerge depuis peu. On distingue entre trois fonctions majeures de formation dans le domaine de la gérontologie: la formation spécifique aux personnes âgées, la formation du public sur le vieillissement et la formation des professionnels et bénévoles. Ces approches sont en cohérence avec le concept de la formation tout au long de la vie qui facilite à son tour l’intégration de la gérontologie dans les Sciences de l’Education. Cet article s’attache à la présentation d’un modèle de conceptualisation des offres de formation pour des professionnels et bénévoles ainsi qu’à la présentation d’un exemple de formation pour les «aidants familiaux» initiés par le GIPAlsace-Gérontologie. |

| Summary, etc. | TRAINING IN GERONTOLOGY FROM THE EDUCATIONAL SCIENCES POINT OF VIEW The importance of educational sciences in caring for the elderly has only recently been recognised. Three major functions of educational gerontology appear: special training for the caring of the elderly, training the general public on ageing and the training of professionals and volunteer-workers. These approaches are coherent with the concept of life long training that facilitates the integration of gerontology in the educational sciences. The article contributes to the three functions by presenting a model for the conceptualisation of training offers for professionals and volunteers and by the presentation of a training example for family helpers created by the GIPAlsace-Gérontologie. |
